For prints torn, faded, water-marked, or quietly slipping out of a frame. Returned to the room they belonged in.
A restoration is one photograph, treated by one pair of hands - never a batch. The original print is left untouched; the work happens to a high-resolution scan, which is returned to you in formats suited to screen, frame, and archive.
A small selection of pieces returned in the last six weeks. Slider state is persistent - you can step away and come back.
If you are not sure which tier fits, send the photograph - we will write back with what is possible, what is worth doing, and what it should cost.

Where most family photographs land. Tears, creases, water damage, faded color.
For severe damage, mold, fire, or full colorization from black-and-white.
If yours is here, we have done it many times. If yours is not, write - most photographs that come to us are some combination of these.

A handful, of many. Filtered to the service on this page.
My mother is in this photograph, and she has been gone twelve years. I cried when I opened the file.
They communicated like a tailor. Asked what I remembered, asked which version of him I wanted back. The print is better than the original was, somehow.
Sent the original on Sunday, had the file back by Friday. It hangs over my parents' mantel now.
A real person reads everything that arrives. If yours is not here, write.
Never. We work from a high-resolution scan; the original is yours to keep and never leaves the frame, envelope, or album you sent it in. If you would like a physical scan rather than mailing the original, a phone scan in good light is usually enough - we will tell you if it is not.
Basic includes two rounds. Standard and Premium include unlimited revisions - we keep working until you tell us it is right.
Almost always. Color photographs from the 1960s through 1990s commonly shift toward magenta or yellow; both are returned without inventing color that was never there.
We do not composite people in. We can reconstruct a relative who has been torn or scribbled out of a photograph - meaning, we rebuild the part of the print they used to occupy.
